Christmas Sugar Cookies – Recipe

Instructions (Cookies):

  1. In a bowl, beat butter + sugar until creamy.

  2. Add egg + vanilla and mix again.

  3. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt.

  4. Add dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until dough forms.

  5. Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  6. Roll out the dough (¼ inch thick) and cut with Christmas cutters (tree, star, gingerbread…).

  7. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 8–10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.

  8. Let cookies cool completely before decorating.

Instructions (Icing):

  1. Mix powdered sugar + milk + vanilla until smooth.

  2. Divide and color with food coloring.

  3. Use piping bags to decorate cookies with Christmas shapes.

  4. Let icing dry for 2–3 hours.
