Hawaiian Pineapple Cake

Un pastel húmedo, dulce y muy fácil de preparar, hecho con piña triturada que aporta una textura jugosa sin necesidad de batidora.
Ingredients

Dry Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt (optional, recommended)

Wet Ingredients:
2 large eggs
1 can (20 oz / 560 g) crushed pineapple with its juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Frosting (optional but delicious):
1 package (8 oz / 225 g) cream cheese, softened
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional: ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
