This rich, melt-in-your-mouth fudge comes together in just 5 minutes, making it the perfect last-minute holiday treat. Creamy chocolate, sweet marshmallows, and buttery pecans combine for a classic old-fashioned fudge that tastes like pure holiday magic. Whether you’re gifting it, sharing it, or sneaking a few pieces for yourself, this Paula Deen–style fudge is guaranteed to be a show-stopper!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the evaporated milk, sugar, and salt.
  2. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  3. Once boiling, continue cooking for 5 minutes, stirring the entire time.
  4. Remove from heat and immediately add the mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and vanilla.
  5. Stir until the mixture is silky, smooth, and fully melted.
  6. Fold in the chopped pecans for that signature crunch.
  7. Pour into a greased or parchment-lined 8×8-inch dish.
  8. Let cool completely, slice into squares, and enjoy!

Variation

  • Swap the Nuts: Try walnuts, almonds, or even macadamia nuts for a fun twist. Each nut brings a unique flavor and texture, allowing you to customize the fudge to your holiday spread.
  • White Chocolate Version: Replace the chocolate chips with white chocolate for a snowy, sweet variation. Add dried cranberries or pistachios for a colorful festive look.
  • Peanut Butter Swirl: Drizzle warm peanut butter into the fudge before it sets, then swirl gently with a knife for a creamy, marbled effect that peanut butter lovers will adore.
